Can I Use a VPN or IP-Masking Technology?
Elite Trader Funding prohibits VPNs, proxies, and any IP-masking technology on trading accounts. The only exception is ETF-approved partner services operating within an approved IP range.
Elite Trader Funding (ETF) does not permit the use of VPNs, proxies, or any IP-masking technology on your trading account. Masking, changing, or spoofing your IP address hides your true location and is treated as a violation of ETF's Terms of Service.
What is prohibited
Connecting to your ETF account through a VPN, VPS, proxy, or any service that hides, changes, or spoofs your real IP address or physical location.
Using IP-masking technology to bypass country, regional, or geographic restrictions.
Using IP masking to access, share, or trade an account on behalf of another person.
Engaging in any of the above can result in an account reset, forfeiture of profits, account failure, and a permanent ban from ETF.
The only exception: ETF-approved services within an approved IP range
The sole exception is an ETF-approved partner service operating within an approved IP range. For example, an approved trade copier (such as TradeSync) runs on cloud infrastructure whose IP ranges are published by the provider; connections that originate from an approved partner's approved IP range are permitted.
If you are unsure whether a service, tool, or IP range is approved - including if you are traveling - contact ETF support before you connect. The responsibility to confirm that your setup is approved rests with you.
Why this policy exists
IP masking is one of the most common ways bad actors attempt to circumvent our evaluation and payout rules, share accounts, or trade from restricted regions. Prohibiting it protects the integrity of the program and the traders who follow the rules.
