Consistency Rule and Active Trade Days (ATD) Explained
What the consistency rule and Active Trade Day (ATD) requirements are, and the exact minimums and percentages for each ETF plan and account size.
Consistency Rule and Active Trade Days (ATD) Explained
Two different rules often both get called the "consistency rule." Here is what each one means, plus the exact numbers for every plan and account size.
The two rules at a glance
- ATD-qualifying rule: whether a trading day counts as an Active Trade Day. A day counts only if it hits both a minimum dollar profit and a minimum percentage of your best day.
- Consistency rule: your single best day cannot exceed a set percentage of your total profit.
DTF plan — by account size
Each Active Trade Day (ATD) must meet both the minimum profit and the best-day percentage shown for your account size.
- 10K (Mini Inferno): 5 ATDs per cycle · $150 minimum per ATD · 50% of your best day · safety net $1,600 · End-of-Day drawdown
- 25K: 10 ATDs per cycle · $300 minimum per ATD · 38% of your best day · safety net $2,600 · End-of-Day drawdown
- 50K: 15 ATDs per cycle · $600 minimum per ATD · 62% of your best day · safety net $5,100 · End-of-Day drawdown
- 100K: 20 ATDs per cycle · $500 minimum per ATD · 50% of your best day · safety net $5,100 · Static drawdown
1-Step, Static, EOD, and Diamond Hands
- A day counts as an ATD when it earns at least $200 realized profit AND at least 23% of your best day.
- A $100 minimum applies instead of $200 for: 10K 1-Step, 25K 1-Step, 25K EOD, and 100K Static.
- ATDs required (Static, EOD, Diamond Hands, and 1-Step): 8 for Cycle 1, 10 for Cycles 2-4.
- A short-lived 1-Step promotion for accounts purchased July 6-27, 2026 used a faster 5 / 5 / 3 / 2 cycle schedule (same payout amounts, fewer ATDs needed per cycle). Accounts purchased before July 6, 2026, or on or after July 28, 2026, use the standard 8/10/10/10 schedule above.
- Setting a new best day raises the 23% threshold for future days.
Revamped Fast-Track consistency rule
- To qualify: 40% consistency - your best single day cannot exceed 40% of your total profit.
- At payout: 30% consistency on your overall profit.
Legacy Fast-Track Elite Payout Requirements
- Legacy Fast-Track does not use the 40%/30% consistency-cap rule. At payout (Elite Sim-Funded), it follows the standard Elite Payout Requirements: each day must reach at least 23% of your best trading day amount to count.
