Top performers are invited to LIVE ELITE, where you trade real capital invested in you, withdraw daily, and receive performance bonuses. Your trading begins in a simulated environment, but that is not where it ends! LIVE ELITE is where you want to be! Elite Trader Funding (ETF) invests real capital in traders who demonstrate they have a consistent edge and disciplined risk control.
This is where the work starts paying you back.
You didn't get here by luck. You showed a consistent edge and the discipline to protect it — and that's exactly what Elite Trader Funding invests behind. LIVE ELITE is the stage where top performers stop trading a simulation and start trading real capital that ETF has put in the market on your behalf.
Your journey began in a simulated environment. But that was never where it ends. In LIVE ELITE you trade real money in live markets, you may request a withdrawal every trading day, and you earn performance Rewards on top of your split. You execute; we provide the capital and a defined risk framework, with an 80/20 profit split subject to the program rules and applicable fees.
Scale your account when your edge is working. Step back when it isn't. Your downside stays defined the whole way through.
The same trader, the same skill — but the ceiling comes off. Here's what's different the moment you're in LIVE ELITE:
Every LIVE ELITE account runs on an End-of-Day drawdown. That's the framework your real-capital trading lives inside — defined, predictable, and built to keep more of what you make in your hands.
You qualify to trade real capital with our live broker — and transition to LIVE ELITE — the moment you satisfy any one of the following:
Before you go live, two more boxes get checked:
ETF may move you to LIVE ELITE at any time — during your evaluation, before a Reward, during a Reward, or after a Reward request. If we see the talent and believe you're ready, we make that call when the time is right.
There's one risk discipline that carries real weight in the Elite Sim-Funded stage, because it's the clearest signal of whether you're ready for real capital.
Safety Threshold. For each Sim-Funded account, keep Profit ≥ Account Max Drawdown + $100.
The give-back rule. After an account gains 20%, you may not give back more than 35% of those gains. This rule overrides the initial max drawdown. It applies intraday, within a single session, and across the account's entire lifetime. Give back more than 35% and the account can be removed from Elite Sim-Funded — and disqualified from LIVE ELITE. ETF checks compliance during routine risk audits and at every Reward request.
Illustration — 150K Sim-Funded account
Account stage | What happens | Balance | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
Initial balance | Starting account balance | $150,000 | — |
After 20% growth | Account increases by 20% | $180,000 | +$30,000 |
After a significant loss | Loss equal to 35% of the increase | $169,500 | −$10,500 |
Here the trader has hit the limit exactly. Any additional loss beyond this point would breach the rule.
When the call comes, here's how the handover works — cleanly, and with credit for everything you built in sim.
Active Evaluation and Elite Sim-Funded subscriptions are automatically canceled when you go live. For active evaluations that haven't failed and for passed accounts, your last billing payment is added to your LIVE ELITE Starting Balance — so your most recent payment works for you, not against you.
If and when you're transitioned, you'll receive a welcome email from the Risk Team that walks you through the next steps and how to begin trading. When this happens, your Elite Sim-Funded accounts are closed and you're set up with a fixed LIVE ELITE starting balance funded with real capital.
Here's the part worth reading twice: your SIM balance does not become your LIVE starting balance, and it isn't paid to you as a cash Reward when you convert. Instead, ETF calculates your opening LIVE ELITE Vault from the SIM earnings remaining on your eligible accounts, plus any Reward you requested but hadn't yet received — counting the same dollar only once. That value is recorded in your Vault as a separate internal performance ledger, where it goes to work funding 10% matches as your normal LIVE withdrawals are approved for payment. Two balances, two jobs:
Balance | What it is |
|---|---|
LIVE starting balance | The fixed real capital ETF uses to open your LIVE account and establish your onboarding balance. |
LIVE ELITE Vault balance | Your performance ledger — the eligible value above, held separately to fund 10% matches as you complete LIVE withdrawals. |
Your End-of-Day onboarding balance is based on your top-performing Elite Sim-Funded account that has reached the safety net (account max drawdown + $100). Top performing means:
Qualifying account | Onboarding balance |
|---|---|
50K or below | $1,250 |
100K | $1,500 |
150K or above | $2,000 |
10K DTF | $1,500 |
25K DTF | $1,500 |
50K DTF | $2,000 |
100K DTF | $2,500 |
Please note that the following balances are subject to account fees. Per exchange and clearing fees are a flat $197, deducted from the account when it is first opened and at the beginning of every calendar month.
When you receive an offer to transition, you have 3 business days to accept. Take the time you need within that window to make an informed decision. If you choose not to convert in those 3 business days, you'll still receive a Reward for the work you put in, based on your earnings as of the offer date:
These amounts are calculated from your account balance on the date the offer was made. After that, the account is closed. We want every trader to move forward on their own terms — but LIVE ELITE is where we commit real capital, and that requires a clear commitment in return.
*Important: If you decline the LIVE ELITE offer, you'll be prohibited from using ETF's services for two calendar years.*
What a two-year restriction means for your Vault. A two-year restriction is treated as an account-ending event for LIVE ELITE Vault purposes. Any unprotected Remaining Vault value and unreleased Locked or Held matches are voided. Previously protected value — and any release that already passed review and is only waiting to post — remains associated with you.
This is the part you earned. In LIVE ELITE you can request a withdrawal every trading day.
Timing. Requests submitted before 1:00 PM EST are given priority and processed same day on a best-effort basis — and so far, same day has been the norm. All other requests are generally handled within 24 hours. Processing runs on business days only, and times can vary around bank holidays or periods of high volume.
Withdrawal or Reward type | How it works |
|---|---|
Normal LIVE withdrawals | $250 minimum, no maximum. Your account must stay above its Onboarding Balance. The profit split is 80/20 — 80% to you. |
LIVE ELITE Vault Rewards | Separate Day-90 releases, up to $5,000 each. The 10% matches follow their own deposit, maintenance, and release rules; any excess stays locked for a later Reward. |
Here's something most firms don't do: the value you built in sim doesn't vanish when you go live. It follows you into your LIVE ELITE Vault and keeps paying — matching 10% of your approved LIVE withdrawals as you trade. Your past work funds your future.
Your Vault preserves your eligible SIM Reward value as a separate internal performance ledger. It isn't immediate cash, and it isn't dropped into your LIVE account all at once. Instead, it funds matches as your normal LIVE withdrawals are approved for payment.
Your opening Vault is the eligible value remaining from your qualifying Elite Sim-Funded accounts after the amount allocated to your LIVE ELITE onboarding balance is deducted.
Example:
Eligible Sim-Funded earnings: $10,000
LIVE ELITE onboarding allocation: −$2,000
Opening LIVE ELITE Vault: $8,000
The new Vault structure applies to eligible 80/20 LIVE ELITE traders whose qualifying Evaluation or DTF purchases date to September 17, 2025 or later. ETF is reviewing eligible onboarding, current, and former LIVE ELITE traders from that group. If the same value was already recorded through a Sim Vault after that date, it isn't added again.
Legacy Sim Vault and 90/10 accounts stay under their existing structure and don't enter the new 10% matching engine — value already recorded through a legacy Sim Vault isn't added again through this historical review.
The clock runs in calendar days. Day 1 is the calendar date your LIVE ELITE credentials are issued, in Eastern Time (America/New_York). Each Vault cycle is three consecutive 30-calendar-day matching periods, and your release review falls at the close of the 90-calendar-day cycle.
10% — Match on normal LIVE withdrawals approved for payment | 30 calendar days — Each matching period | Up to 3 — Matches during each 90-calendar-day cycle | $5,000 — Maximum Reward at each Day-90 release |
|---|
At the end of each completed 30-calendar-day period, ETF totals the normal LIVE withdrawals approved for payment to you during that window. ETF calculates a 10% match, limits it to the amount remaining in your Vault, and records it against your internal Vault balance.
Separately, ETF adds an equal amount of company capital to your LIVE account through our broker as locked trading capital. Your Vault is the record of what remains eligible to be matched — it is not a cash account, and Vault funds are never transferred to the broker.
That locked capital can't be included in an ordinary LIVE withdrawal before its release review.
You can receive up to three 10% matches in a 90-calendar-day cycle — one after each completed 30-calendar-day period. Each match increases the balance you must maintain. The match is always calculated in full but can't exceed what's left in your Vault, and the amount paid at each Day-90 release is capped at $5,000.
*Real capital, real exposure. The matched company capital in your LIVE account is real trading capital. It can support your account while locked, but it stays exposed to trading losses — and anything lost through trading isn't replenished from your Vault.*
Each 30-calendar-day match raises your required account balance. At the Day-90 review, up to $5,000 of your matched capital becomes payable — provided your LIVE account has maintained the full required balance those matches created (your Onboarding Balance plus up to 3 matches).
Example — $5,000 LIVE account, $5,000 approved withdrawals each period
Review | Approved withdrawals | 10% match added | Required balance after |
|---|---|---|---|
Day 30 | $5,000 | $500 | $5,500 |
Day 60 | $5,000 | $500 | $6,000 |
Day 90 | $5,000 | $500 | $6,500 |
Assume the trader also has at least $1,500 available in the Vault. On Day 90, if they've maintained the $6,500 required balance, the three $500 matches are released as a $1,500 Vault Reward. After the Reward, the account returns to its original $5,000 required balance.
The $5,000 cap. The Reward above is below the cap. If accumulated matches ever exceed $5,000, only $5,000 is paid at that Day-90 release. The excess stays locked in the LIVE account, remains part of the balance you must maintain, and can be paid at a later 90-calendar-day Reward — subject to another $5,000 cap.
Miss a release? Nothing is lost. If you don't meet the release requirement at your first Day-90 review, your matched capital doesn't expire. It stays locked and remains part of the balance you maintain, and as long as your account is active, ETF reviews your eligibility again at the next scheduled 90-calendar-day review.
If your LIVE ELITE account ends before matches qualify for release, all unreleased Locked or Held matches and any unprotected Remaining Vault value are voided, and matching and future reviews stop. Two things survive: Vault value already protected by reaching the static threshold stays associated with you, and a release that already passed review and is only waiting to post remains owed.
Your Vault balance becomes protected when your RTrader End-of-Day trailing threshold reaches its static level through LIVE trading performance.
Example — $5,000 LIVE account
Item | Amount |
|---|---|
Onboarding balance | $5,000 |
Trailing drawdown | $4,700 |
Initial liquidation floor | $300 above zero |
Trading profit required to make the threshold static | $4,700 |
Balance when the threshold becomes static at $5,000 | $9,700 |
The $300 is simply the balance remaining above zero at the initial liquidation floor — it is not the profit target. In this example, the trader must earn $4,700 through LIVE trading and reach a $9,700 balance for the threshold to become static at $5,000.
*Only LIVE trading counts. ETF Vault matches, promotional credits, fee reimbursements, and manual adjustments do not count as the trading performance required to reach the static threshold.*
Once protected, it stays protected. After the threshold becomes static, the Remaining Vault value tied to that LIVE tenure is protected. A later liquidation does not erase that protected value — it remains associated with you if you later qualify to return to LIVE ELITE within six months (see How long your Vault value lasts below).
Coming back and stacking. Any Vault value that was already protected stays protected. If you return through the SIM program and earn new SIM Rewards, that value stacks on top of your current Vault balance — but the newly stacked value becomes protected only after your next LIVE ELITE account reaches its static threshold through LIVE trading.
Six months away from LIVE ELITE. Your Vault is tied to your path back to live trading, so it isn't held forever. If six (6) consecutive calendar months pass without you holding an active LIVE ELITE account, all remaining Vault value expires, including protected value, along with any unreleased Locked or Held matches. A release that already passed review and is only waiting to post is still paid.
When the clock starts and stops. The six months start on the date your most recent LIVE ELITE account ends, in Eastern Time (America/New_York). If you return to LIVE ELITE before the six months are up, the clock stops and your Vault continues under the current matching structure. It only starts again if that account later ends. While you hold an active LIVE ELITE account, your Vault does not expire. For LIVE ELITE accounts that ended before October 8, 2026, the six months start on October 8, 2026.
LIVE ELITE does not enforce a mandatory Daily Loss Limit on your account. That's by design. We trust you to manage risk like the professional trader you've proven yourself to be.
That trust comes with a clear expectation: you're trading real capital that ETF invested in you, and we expect you to protect it accordingly. Your account is monitored for both single-session and lifetime loss:
Trigger | What ETF does |
|---|---|
20% loss in a single session | ETF flattens any open positions and sends a follow-up email outlining the risk adjustment applied to your account. |
25% lifetime loss from onboarding balance | ETF issues a warning. |
35% lifetime loss or more | ETF flattens any open positions and submits the account for Risk Review, which determines the next action. |
Part of trading real capital is knowing when to step back. If your strategy isn't working, reduce size or stop trading. Recognizing when conditions aren't in your favor — and adjusting — is exactly what separates funded traders from everyone else.
When you want to lock in gains, email support@elitetraderfunding.com. We'll review your recent P&L and trading behavior, then set a new soft-liquidation level above your Starting Balance to secure part of your profits.
Example: start at $5,000 and earn $10,000 for a balance of $15,000. We can set soft liquidation at $10,000 — securing $5,000 while you keep trading the remaining cushion.
The matched company capital locked in your LIVE account stays at risk, too — it's real trading capital and can be reduced by trading losses, and anything lost there isn't replenished from your Vault.
*The bottom line. No DLL does not mean no accountability. Trade with intention, manage your downside, and treat the capital the way you would if it came out of your own pocket — because your future in LIVE ELITE depends on it.*
Your initial contract limit is set by your LIVE ELITE Starting Balance:
Starting balance | Max micro contracts |
|---|---|
$1,500 and below | 5 Micros |
$2,000 and above | 10 Micros |
These limits protect both you and the capital we've invested in you. After 20 trading days, if you believe your limit should increase, email support@elitetraderfunding.com — the Risk Team will evaluate your trading style, consistency, and risk management before approving any change.
Auto-liquidation fees are charged at $5 per contract when an auto-liquidation event occurs. This is a fee our broker charges us, and we pass it through to the account. You'll be charged if:
Manage your positions accordingly. These fees are non-negotiable and won't be reversed.
Clear pricing up front, with meaningful perks for traders who manage risk well.
You pay a flat $197 per month per exchange and clearing fees for your first account, deducted from your account balance on the first of each month. That covers:
Each additional account incurs another $197. Select only the exchanges you need:
Available exchanges | Common instruments |
|---|---|
CME | ES, NQ, 6E |
CBOT | YM, ZN, ZB |
NYMEX | CL, NG |
COMEX | GC, SI |
EUREX | Varies by instrument |
*Earn covered exchange fees. Show consistent, genuine performance in LIVE ELITE for 3 months and ETF covers your exchange fees — you'd only cover the FCM fees. It's how we back serious traders who manage risk well. (Fees are subject to change based on the data broker.)*
Product | Commission |
|---|---|
Minis | $2.00 |
Micros | $0.62 |
Eurex | $0.69 (commissions only; exchange fees vary by instrument) |
Optional platform fee. EdgeProX is $34.99 per month. After 3 months of genuine trading, ETF covers EdgeProX.
LIVE ELITE supports Rithmic, R | Trader for Web, iOS, and Android, ATAS, Bookmap, EdgeProX, eSignal, Finamark, Investor/RT, MotiveWave, Quantower, and Sierra Chart.
As your edge compounds, so can your footprint. Trade copying becomes available once you've built a sufficient realized profit buffer above your Starting Balance in LIVE ELITE and split your live account into multiple accounts (approved by Risk).
All the usual risk rules still apply — Loss limit, soft-liquidation, and custom contract limits. If your account or accounts fall into drawdown, trade copying may be turned off, and accounts may be consolidated.
To request trade copying and verify your profit buffer and split status, open a support ticket via the Boomeo AI chat or email support@elitetraderfunding.com.
In LIVE ELITE you're treated as an independent contractor of the firm, and like any contractor relationship, the expectation is performance and active engagement. Because you represent ETF and we're investing in you, we expect genuine trading activity each week that reflects your commitment to growth and professionalism.
This doesn't mean forcing trades. It means real participation in the markets. Scratch trades or artificial activity designed to "check the box" don't count toward monthly requirements — and aren't in the spirit of what LIVE ELITE stands for.
Life happens. If you can't trade for a stretch, email support@elitetraderfunding.com — requesting time off is always better than going silent.
If a LIVE ELITE account goes inactive and we haven't heard from you, we'll act to protect the firm's capital, including reallocating those funds to another trader. Specifically, if there's no genuine trading activity for 7 calendar days, the account is closed and you're removed from the program. To re-enter, you'd go through the DTF route described below.
*Vault impact. Closing a LIVE ELITE account is an account-ending event: matching and future reviews stop. Vault value already protected by reaching the static threshold stays associated with you (and any release that already passed review and is waiting to post remains owed); any unprotected Remaining Vault value and unreleased Locked or Held matches are voided.*
Trading real capital comes with real challenges. Markets get volatile, strategies need adjusting, and sometimes things don't go as planned. We can't reset a LIVE ELITE account once it's liquidated — real capital was on the line — but that doesn't mean your journey with us is over.
You can start fresh in our SIM program and work your way back. We've been through this with traders before, and many come back stronger. Your long-term success is our success.
Vault status | What happens after liquidation |
|---|---|
Previously protected | Your protected Vault value stays associated with you. If you later complete the standard return path and qualify for LIVE ELITE again, that protected value becomes available under the current Vault matching structure. |
Newly stacked & conditional | Any new SIM Rewards stacked onto your Vault stay conditional until your next LIVE ELITE account reaches its static threshold through LIVE trading. |
Anything unprotected — Remaining Vault value and unreleased Locked or Held matches — is voided; a release that already passed review and is only waiting to post still remains owed. The matched company capital already locked in a liquidated LIVE account isn't replenished if lost — it was real trading capital and stayed exposed to trading losses. Protected value also has a time limit: if six consecutive calendar months pass without an active LIVE ELITE account, it expires (see How long your Vault value lasts).
There's a 14-day cool-off period during which you can't make any new purchases. On day 15, reach out to the ETF Risk Team — open a support ticket via the Boomeo AI chat or email support@elitetraderfunding.com — to find out whether you're eligible to return. If approved, you re-enter through the Rebuild Path with a 50K Direct to Funded (DTF) account.
*What the Rebuild Path means for your Vault. Entering the Rebuild Path is treated as the loss of the prior LIVE ELITE account. Any unprotected Remaining Vault value and unreleased Locked or Held matches from that account are voided. Previously protected value stays associated with you, and any release that already passed review and is waiting to post remains owed.*
Rebuild Path | Detail |
|---|---|
Cost | $99, one-time |
Reset fee | $25 |
To demonstrate readiness | 15 Active Trading Days + $9,000 realized profit |
Unlimited $25 resets are available exclusively to former LIVE ELITE traders. (If you're not a former LIVE ELITE trader, see the help article How Does The Direct to Funded Work.)
Once you've hit the ATD and profit requirement on the 50K DTF account, open a ticket via Boomeo AI chat or email support@elitetraderfunding.com. We'll re-enable SIM purchases and Rewards under the normal SIM evaluation path while we evaluate your readiness for LIVE ELITE.
*Note. Because the goal is your swift return to a LIVE ELITE account, Rewards from this DTF account will not be available or approved.*
