ELITE Tape | Micro Nasdaq Futures: The Bigger Bet
Micro Nasdaq futures posted the week's single biggest ELITE loss for the third time in six weeks, after eighteen straight weeks of NQ alone.

Micro Nasdaq Futures: The Bigger Bet

Micro Nasdaq futures (MNQ) posted the single largest ELITE loss of the week, ahead of its own full-size sibling, E-Mini NASDAQ-100 (NQ), in second place. That is the third time in six weeks MNQ has taken that spot instead of NQ. Eighteen straight weeks before that, NQ alone held the top loss spot every single time.
ETF is a futures prop firm for traders who want uncapped Live Elite payouts. Every one of the five sessions closed net negative for ELITE accounts this week, extending the fully red run that started the week before.
Three flips in six weeks is not proof of anything on its own. But it is a real shift in a real number, and it raises the obvious question: are traders leaning harder into the smaller contract when the tape gets choppy? A micro contract lets you add size faster with less margin tied up per position. If more accounts are doing that more often, the loss column starts looking exactly like this one.
What ELITE Accounts Were Trading
Micro E-mini NASDAQ-100 (MNQ) led every instrument in trading volume among ELITE accounts by a wide margin, its usual spot at the top of the board. E-Mini NASDAQ-100 (NQ) held second, followed by E-Mini S&P 500 (ES) and Micro E-mini S&P 500 (MES). Micro Gold (MGC) and Gold (GC) rounded out the metals activity, while E-Mini Dow (YM), Micro Crude Oil (MCL), Micro E-mini Dow (MYM), and E-Mini Russell 2000 (RTY) closed out the top 10 most traded instruments.
Tuesday carried the week's second-heaviest trading volume and the week's single largest loss at the same time, more activity and a bigger loss landing on the same day. That is exactly the kind of session where position size matters most. Elite Trader Funding's Position Size Calculator maps contract size against account risk before you add to a position, not after. For the full breakdown of instruments ELITE accounts can trade, see ETF's What Instruments Can I Trade guide, and for ticker symbols across contract families, the Forex and Futures Symbol Guide.

Where the Profits Went
Silver (SI) led every instrument in profit this week, by a wide margin over the next-best performer. Micro Crude Oil (MCL) took second, followed by Micro E-mini Russell 2000 (M2K) and Live Cattle (LE). Micro Copper (MHG), Euro FX (6E), and British Pound (6B) rounded out the list. Only seven instruments finished the week in the green at all.
Micro E-mini Russell 2000 (M2K) was the only equity index name to show up anywhere in the profit column this week. Its own full-size sibling, E-Mini Russell 2000 (RTY), did not post big enough numbers either way to crack the losers list, but every other equity index instrument on the board, MNQ, NQ, ES, MES, YM, and MYM, landed in the red instead.

Where the Losses Went
Micro E-mini NASDAQ-100 (MNQ) posted this week's single largest loss, ahead of E-Mini NASDAQ-100 (NQ) in second, the flip covered above. E-Mini S&P 500 (ES) took third, followed by Gold (GC) and E-Mini Dow (YM). Micro E-mini S&P 500 (MES), Swiss Franc (6S), Nikkei/USD (NKD), Micro E-mini Dow (MYM), and Micro Gold (MGC) rounded out the top 10 loss instruments.
MNQ has held the #1 volume spot among ELITE accounts for 24 straight weeks; last week's recap covered its own divergence story, MNQ Futures Prop Firm: The Rebound Day Hurt the Most. This week MNQ did something it has only done twice before all year: outlose its own full-size sibling outright. For the longer-running story behind NQ's own presence in the loss column, see NQ Futures Prop Firm: Sixteen Weeks in the Loss Column.

The Day-by-Day Reversal
Every session of the week closed net negative for ELITE accounts, though the size of each day's loss swung hard from one day to the next. Tuesday carried by far the heaviest damage. Friday closed out the week with the lightest loss by a wide margin.
Public market reporting shows real volatility of its own this week. Monday, ELITE accounts' second-lightest loss day, coincided with a broad rally that pushed the Dow to a record close, with Amazon crossing three trillion dollars in market value the same day on a strong cloud earnings beat. Tuesday, ELITE accounts' single heaviest loss day by a wide margin, coincided with an even bigger rally: the S&P 500 and Dow both closed at fresh records, the Nasdaq surged, and Palantir alone jumped nearly thirty percent on the day. Wednesday reversed hard, oil prices pressured stocks, and the Dow dropped more than four hundred points to end its winning streak, matching ELITE accounts' second-heaviest loss of the week. Thursday stayed soft, the Dow slipping from its highs while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq both fell as investors weighed rising Treasury yields ahead of Friday's jobs report. Friday brought the surprise: nonfarm payrolls fell by twenty-three thousand, the first monthly decline since February and far below what economists expected, and stocks rallied anyway on bets the Federal Reserve would hold off raising rates. That was ELITE accounts' lightest loss day of the week. None of this is presented as a cause of ELITE accounts' results, only as verified market context for the same calendar days.
How Volume Moved Through the Week
Monday carried the week's heaviest trading volume among ELITE accounts. Tuesday was close behind in second, and also produced the week's single largest loss, the busiest and most damaging session of the week landing on the same day. Friday saw the lightest activity of the week, the same session that produced the lightest loss.

About ELITE Accounts at Elite Trader Funding
ELITE accounts are sim-funded. The trading activity in these recaps reflects position P/L in sim accounts, not Live Elite payouts. Traders reach an Elite Sim-Funded account either by passing an evaluation or by purchasing Direct to Funding (DTF), which skips the evaluation step, and those who do well may progress to Live Elite, where payouts use real capital and there is no cap.
For a full explanation of how payouts work at each stage, see How Prop Firm Payouts Work: Sim vs Live vs Guaranteed. For daily payout structure specifics, see Daily Payout Prop Firms: How Live Elite Pays You.
