About Elite Trader Funding

Elite Trader Funding was founded on February 14, 2022. Valentine's Day was not the plan, but it suits us more than we expected. We have been at this for more than four years now, which is rare in this industry. We have funded traders, paid them, made mistakes, fixed them, and learned what actually separates a trader who got lucky from one who can perform consistently.

If you spend any time around us, you will hear us say the same thing over and over. Trading is hard. We mean it.

No fine print games. Here is the path.

Many traders wish they could trade simulated funded accounts with maximum leverage forever. It is easier. Orders fill more often than they would in a live market, even though our simulation engine does its best to mirror real conditions. We understand the financial appeal.

But we will be honest with you. Paying real money to honor simulated profits is not sustainable for us, or any firm, in the long term. So, if you have demonstrated consistent profitability by playing solid offense and defense, we will move you to the live markets. Not because we are trying to dodge the big payouts. Quite the opposite. When you are consistently profitable in a live account, it is mutually beneficial for both of us. You are the type of trader we are on a mission to find and invest real capital in.

Here is something we are proud of. Many of our team members started with ETF as customers. They traded with us, we got to know them, and decided to hire them as they share our same values. Almost every one of them told us the same thing after seeing how we operate from the inside. They were surprised. Surprised at how we actually view risk and how we manage it while taking care of traders, because it was not what they expected from a prop firm.

ETF is a global company. Our people are in Asia, the Americas, Africa, and Europe. The markets do not sleep, and neither do we.

Kanwal Singh founded Elite Trader Funding. Before ETF, Kanwal spent close to two decades as a network and security engineer, including roles at Microsoft, Boeing, and F5, building and automating large-scale infrastructure. He brought that same systems-first, discipline-over-luck mindset to ETF, a firm built around identifying and cultivating talented, consistently profitable traders and backing them with live capital.
